Studio Bowl with fish - VR mark LR mark LVR mark Vivienne Rodwell-Davies? 00810

Bought this at malvern today , It Measures 11cm High to the rims and 27 Dia. it what appears to be abstract fish attached , beautifully made , raku interior is obvious but the outside has the effect of a burnished salt glaze , it's iridescent raku but that's the effect .

I quite like it, would have been tempted Most Excellent I find bowls impossible to display at our place though, especially large ones.

I'm sorry but I'm as lost with this as you are. The work looks good but it's nothing I'm familiar with. The stamp looks like LR, I've checked in a couple of books but I've found no-one with those initials.


There's the Dictionary of Potters Marks currently being revised by James Hazelwood, you could try him
