Sally Shrimpton

Just one potter from my collection tonight - bought these mugs at Potfest 1997. They were quite expensive at the time but I've used them ever since and not a mark on them. They are made from red earthenware and have bold slip-trailed decoration under a clear glaze. She was born in 1947 and was potting in Tockwith near York at the time I bought this work. She has since moved to France (like quite a few potters whose work I have!). 10.8cm (height).





The right hand mark indicates the year - '97
