Rosemary and Denise Wren, Oxshott

Here is different and early Denise Wren bowl. There is a very similar piece in the V&A collection, which dates it to 1928-32,

I find the decoration interesting, as I have never seen anything else like it in her work. Here is a close up.

As a matter of interest, the V&A bought their very similar bowl to this direct from Rosemary Wren in 1981 for £250. It just shows how much reputations can change!
