teacup with a strange mark! Empty teacup with a strange mark!

I like this teacup and I drink out of it daily, it was in a lot with a few decent pieces, its nicely thrown and the glaze has a pleasing crazing. I think it could be porcelain but not sure how to tell? I have pondered upon the mark and my vivid imagination has come up with ' a man with a scarf'!! Any ideas would be very welcome, thank you!
