Blue and White Mystery Plate Hallmark
I have a blue and white plate with gold trim that I am unable to identify. The back makers mark is a series of squiggle lines in a box. The characters look to be a small cursive Z with a B? I've looked on multiple websites for similar mark but have not found a thing. Anyone wiser have knowledge?

Looks to be like a pseudo-Chinese character so it's doubtful you'll be able to decipher it. Being illiterate they made up marks when they weren't copying the emperors marks.
I can't tell from the photos how old it is - they're still making traditional porcelain pieces today, with the same clays and same methods they've used for hundreds of years. You'd need to take it to an expert at a good auction house to have it appraised.
