It is made by a company called Heredities that originally sold imitation bronze figures, often of animals. They now seem to have branched out into a cheaper to produce pottery range sold under the trademark "Charm of Creamware". I suspect they are made in China and Ebay and Amazon seems to be littered with them.

These earthenware models seem to be older than I thought, being made in Cumbria during the 1970s/1980s or at least that is what the internet sellers say.
