Peter Sparrey, PS mark
Hi all
I was hoping someone could help with the marks on a couple of recently purchased bowls.
As can be seen the mark on the first bowl is a stylised U, the second has the same U but with a V underneath.
Any pointers gratefully received.

Two Tall Cobalt Blue Candlesticks Peter Sparrey
Hi
I recently bought these two tall ceramic candlesticks and was wondering if anyone has seen or knows who the mark is.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Peter Sparrey
Peter was born in Worcestershire, England. He began potting full-time after leaving school at sixteen. He set up his first professional pottery studio in 1987 after serving a three-year apprenticeship as a production thrower at the Guernsey Pottery, Channel Islands. From 1996 to 1999 Peter lived and worked in Kuwait exhibiting, teaching and kiln building. Here he fronted a pioneering venture sponsored by the British Council. The British School of Kuwait was established to develop an east -west link with Kuwaiti potters. In 2004 he moved to Normandy with his wife and young family, establishing a new studio where he worked until 2012. He has now returned to the UK living and working in Herefordshire.
The majority of his pots are made on the potter’s wheel. He uses both stoneware and porcelain clay bodies and works on various scales in both clays. His pots are decorated with traditional high-fired Far Eastern glazes including Chinese chuns, tenmoku, celadon and copper reds. Peter fires his work in a reduction gas fired kiln to 1280/1300 Centigrade.
