Fat lava flower pot, Scheurich? Belgium?
This vase form and size match a lot of West German Scheurich flower pots but I don't have a positive ID I have not seen any Scheurich with the sgraffito design or unsigned. measures 3 1/2" tall x 3 3/4" across the rim. Dark Chocolate brown inside glaze. Thanks for looking, any help appreciated!

Scheurich?
I'm not an expert, but that would be my guess too.

It's not sgraffito either. That's when a top glaze is scratched through to reveal the colour underneath.
I think you mean the impressed pattern, which looks like it has been put on by running a patterned wheel around a few times.
It looks like a student piece to me

scheurich produces pots with impressed patterns, and the clay colour looks right.
Is there any mark on the base, however faint?

No marks at all, only a small indented circle in the center. Bay Keramik, W. German was mentioned as a possibility also.
