Re: Elfriede Balzar-Kopp, Germany
Did she work at Westerwald? I haven’t been able to find out anything about the lady & have never seen any reference to the pottery!

Can anybody help with this probable Westerwald style pot? Elfriede Kopp
Doers anybody know anything about this jug? It has a reindeer on one side, and an ?ostrich? on the other. has zigzag patterning in between the panels. Appears to have hand made hand inscribed, and the number 502.
Thanks in advance.
It may take a little trial and error to get the images to work properly.

The ones with that stopper design were common in the 1950s

I fear the inscription just says "Handarbeit"

Salt glazed stoneware. Usually from Portugal or Westerwald

Well done.
& You have the plate very nice!
They are nicely done. I'm off to do a bit of research, to try and date etc.
Seems mine would of had a lid at some point.
Thank you
