looks like an old beer stein but even i know there are people out there who can tell by it's form and decoration where from and how old i'm still just suffering on intellectual incontinence here.... pups

I always think of these as Westerwald stoneware but someone may know differently

yes it's saltglaze and the usual Wersterwald cobalt blue but I have never seen Westerwald like it
