My thoughts exactly. Glad you agree - at least I recognised that !! Have been unable to find out much about him . I wonder if he ever worked there ??

No, not much online. I thought the pottery had been going until recently but found this "Produced in the 1970s by George Dear Pottery based in the Brecon region of South Wales."

I was checking out the potters in the China photo. This George Dear tea pot was on Ebay. I intended to keep it at work but looking at it I was really surprised by the detailing. It has .5mm chamfers on the edges and flairs on all the verticals, everything is crisp and neat and considered

Love the design and execution of this piece. I saw it on Ebay but didn't bid as I haven't got room for a teapot at the moment! Great price as well.
