Ink or Paint Bottle - Stoneware?
Can anyone help me identify what I think is a irredescent copper glazed bottle. I can just read some of the markings, which read: Notts Langley Mill. There is a part of the top wordings, that read either, Lovett or Lovatt. I've been told that it's purpose is either for ink or paint. Your help is appreciated. Do you have any ideas as to the purpose of the bottle? I have been told that it is either for ink or paint.

Ink as Naomi says.
Some companies made ones that were 12 inches or so high and they were for ink too - I have seen them on occasions with paper labels for Stephens Ink amongst other brands.
