the mark looks like a crown? is there a impressed number somewhere? at the outer rim of bottom?

This isn't a Locke & Co mark, though. They have a globe rather than a crown.

It's not Worcester , but I expect it's early 20th century.

I have been told its German Porcelain...the mark is faded with a cross on top...and the guy who looked at it thought it began...Hohe...

The top of the mark looks like those marks but underneath in the empty surrounded area there should be a X with - through for it to be either.

I have not been able to find a mark remotely like this but the four sections of the crown point to Bavaria in Germany.
I think that it might have been made by a factory producing less expensive items in the style of better quality wares that were popular at the time.
