Bowl with NV and BC? marks
Oriental-style bowl. Handwritten mark on base seems to be NV
There is also a faint impressed stamp or inscribed mark on the side. Very faint by possibly BC (the C may be an L or partial D or partial E)

I suspect that the NV is a glaze code but the impressed mark doesn't look familiar to me I'm afraid.

Thanks for the suggestion. All the Barbara Cass pieces I can find are signed BC ARDEN on an unglazed base so probably not one of hers.
