Any thoughts please on this 12 inch long dish.  Has nice feathered image of a seahorse on green background. Incised mark to underside Shanklin plus initials  b & p. My first thought when I saw it was Jo Lester but now feel probably not. All suggestions appreciated John

Dear All,

First time posting, firstly this place is very cool indeed.
Am currently identifying several pieces i have been given, however am stuck with this signature! Help would be appreciated of course.
It is a pottery vase about 4 inches high green coloured as in photo, the second photo is of the scratched signature in bottom.

Please feel free to comment!

Can you tell what the first letter of the signature is? I've tried various combinations of ?lanthum but nothing's coming up.
