IM mark - Ivor Morris
Help please, my initial thoughts on this one don't seem to have panned out
not Ivan Martin as he seems to only work in earthenware and the top and tail caps of the I are missing
Mark Illsley dosen't look to be right either dosen't seem to be his style.
Will Illsley upside down probably not an option either
So looking for alternative IM's or any ideas on the MA
there is pencil date of 1976 written on base not sure if it has any relevance though
thanks

Re: IM mark - Ivor Morris
Been trawling through potters with initials IM but not found it yet. There is a Ivan McMeekin who seems to have done the rounds but I haven't found an example of his mark to see if he's a possibility.

Re: IM mark - Ivor Morris
There is an Ian Macrae(originally from Scotland) at Beaufort Pottery (originally Australia) whose mark is almost identical to Ivan Martins right down to the top and bottom lines on the I which my mark annoyingly does not have and I don't believe its simply missing the top and tail. Worked also at Montville and is currently in Denmark so I'm globe trotting at the moment and its making my head hurt

Re: IM mark - Ivor Morris
Came across an IW mark recently for Will Illsley. I through the middle of the W, like yours, as a stamp.
