Does anyone know if this small (6" wide) tin glazed leaf patterned wall sconce is by Axel Bruel?
No idea about the other mark.
Thanks

I think that Alex Bruel was a ceramic designer rather than maker and all the work that I know of was factory produced in porcelain and about modernist shape and form so it's a big NO from me.

Thanks, I'm aware of his modernist work, it was just pieces like this on Ebay that made me wonder....

Mark and style are similar, but obviously not the same.

I've removed the Ebay link, as they are not allowed in this section of the site, but it is my rule never to believe anything that sellers on Ebay state, unless I can verify it elsewhere.

The attribution by the seller that you drew attention to looks totally without foundation in my opinion and that of potential buyers, as it doesn't seem to have sold and has been re-listed.
