Willie Carter - Top Farm Pottery - Farndon
Produces functional and sculptural pieces in has a highly recognisable style.
He is also a painter.
Here is the most recent addition to my collection:
Fish N Ships Decoration
Thrown and altered with some slab building.
Must be a "Marmite Pot", I love it and my wife hates it
More info here:

It's much more wonky in person (intentionally! ) It's also nowhere near as heavy as you'd think.

Not someone I'm familiar with so I went onto his website and was rather disappointed. There was nothing on there as good as your vase, which looks superb.
I suppose that the twee pieces pay the bills?

Re: Willie Carter - Top Farm Pottery - Farndon
I actually like a lot of his "twee" pieces too, especially some of the comical animal sculptures.
Though I suspect your right and they are probably far more commercially popular than my vase is
Would it surprise you to find out is has a copper lustre finish? (Not all over though and the lustre itself has been sgraffito decorated)

studio-pots wrote:A large one too for a very low price! How come you never told me about it, Potty?
The taller narrower one went for more than I was prepared to pay
The one I bought I bought went for exactly my max bid
Never thought it would be something you liked, or I probably would have done!

I've come across this decoration before but it might take me a while to remember it. Not Dart. I think it's Willie Carter

Yes it maybe. The pinks greens and blues are similar to my coffee can on the thread.
