Here is a large Italian vase - wondered if anyone recognises it - marked Italy with numbers.

Thanks

There are a lot of these sorts of pieces around, ie, simply marked Italy with a pattern number. Unfortunately very few have a manufacturer's mark so it's difficult to know who made them.

...if it's a grogg-filled clay then it might be one of the manufacturers with links to Bitossi. As there's no B with the lettering one can't say Bitossi for sure.

I have Mark Hills book Alla Moda. It's thrown light on many of my Italian pieces, even those marked thus - not however this. I was looking at Bitossi - there are lots of marks without the B - Fanciullacci is another maybe.
