Cylindric lava vase abstract decor, base impressed 218 - Girmscheid

Couldn't find anything when searching for the number 218; it looks a bit early Scheurich or similar to me...

Height 16.5 cm, width 7.5 cm. The abstract decor is there twice, both sides the same apart from the colours changing place ;-)

I found a Jasba vase with number 218, but it has a totally different shape...

It´s a mystery for me.
 
Germany WGP early 60s i think
but don´t know the maker.
 
The markings remind me of Girmscheid,  the
glaze doesn´t.  
 
Jasba 200 range = jugs

There will be a few companies that used that number , sometimes repeating it after a period , I just can't find a match for yours , I'm sure when Volker comes on he will be able to help you .

When I bought it I thought this would be an easy one to ID ;-)

The closest I could find regarding glaze and decor (and the creamy yellow interior) are these Scheurich vases:

It´s a Girmscheid piece, found a jug with a Girmscheid sticker on ebay.de today.
The jug has the same decor as the cyl. vase 218.

Thank you very much for remembering my little vase!
And an interesting ID -- Girmscheid, not a name I was familiar with...
