Elephant lamp-base - probably Empire ware
Elephant scratching or pushing a Palm-tree over.
Slipcast white pottery, glazed in blues and browns.
Apparently it came from a house clearance on the South coast (Portsmouth, I think). Dealer thought it was Art Deco era. I've removed the fittings as it's perfectly possible the wiring was pre-war.
Unmarked.
Wondering who made it, and if there's a name for this type of glaze decoration.

This is one I should know because of the glaze, but can't remember

Could be Empire Ware, but I'm not convinced that's who I'm trying to remember.

I keep thinking Adventurine glaze, but that's probably because of Adventurine glass.
