Italian preserve/honey pot, marked with a pink flower on base
This little pot just appealed to me for some reason and only a couple of pound. Can anyone shed any light on the maker?

Italian ceramics are notoriously difficult to identify unless there's a manufacturer's name on the base, or it's a traditional form (copies of 16th-19th Century pieces) or well known clay/glaze, eg, Bitossi. Someone might know which factory used a flower, but in the meantime I found a blog post by Mark Hill ( ‘Flower Painter’ Mid-Century Italian Ceramics – An Update) which may or may not refer to the same flower mark
