Jaqueline Norris, Eton Applied Arts, Eton, Berks.
26cm tall vase with green and blue Barium glaze and brown/black iron spots.
Stamped on base 'JN' and 'eton'
Checking the StudioPottery website, I'm wondering if it's an early example of Jeremy Nichols' work, when he was a student at Harrow (which is next to Eton). He uses barium glaze, but now on saltglazed stoneware.

Anthony Clee ran a pottery at 81 High Street Eton from 1959-93. His work includes the word Eton in various forms.
From 1985 he ran it with others as a cooperative. I suspect your mark is from someone from those years.

You're right, Jaqueline Norris (now Jaqueline Turner) took over the pottery from Tony Clee, and still runs a gallery there.
Tony Clee bought the building in the mid 1950’s and ran Clee Pottery as a co-operative whilst making much of the domestic ware himself. In 1994 we bought the building, and continued the tradition, installing new kilns and a working pottery run by Jacqueline Norris (Turner). Jacqueline continued making pots for a further ten years until the running of the gallery took over full time.
Jam Eton frontageToday, Mike and Jacqueline Turner still run the business as a gallery, showcasing other eminent potters’ work as well as glass artists, printmakers and jewellers.
