This is an unusual pot that I never managed to identify the mark of. Someone once suggested it may be Murray Fieldhouse, but I wonder if anyone out there can any light on it?

I totally agree with you there... t'was a well respected studio pottery expert that suggested that possibility.... hopefully the 20th Century forum eggheads can shed some more light on Murray Fieldhouse's work sometime?

Fieldhouse made so few pots and so long ago that I suspect very few people have seen anything by him. I did see a piece in the auction of the Geoffrey Godden collection at Bonhams about 20 years ago but that's it.
