Two types of pottery found with Wightwick Pottery labels. One is red clay and stamped WP, and the other is grey stoneware.
Recieved this explanation from Andrea Thursby, (Collections and House Officer, National Trust, Wightwick Manor)

The pottery first belonged to John Mander who lived here as a child and teenager and in later years it was run by a Mrs Pat Mullett.

Items in grey stoneware that I believe are by Pat Mullett

John Mander was the son of Geoffrey Mander who built Wightwick. He had an upper class education via Eton and Cambridge. One suspects any pottery would have been as a hobby. The serious pottery would have been from Pat Mullett and you see such items marked wightwick pottery on Ebay occasionally.
