Hi

Picked this up this morning at the boot market anyone know what it is please? The metal t piece is crudely made and loose fit, if it wasn't for the fixed metal in the hole I would not of thought it had anything to do with the pot? Shrugs  Has AN or AV mark to underside 4.5" diameter 2.5" tall. Thanks

According to his website he is into 'sculptural pottery' so I guess it has no specific purpose as such.

"The inspiration for Andrew’s sculptures comes from munitions of warfare and the wartime coastal defences on the Normandy beaches. "
