Velten Vordamm

           

"Velten-Vordamm was a company with two factories.
Vordamm was foundet 1900
the second factory in Velten 1913/14.
they did amazing stuff in both factories...
this mocca set is by hedwig bollhagen for velten keramik
i'm searching for two cups to complete this mocca set for six
it's form 501, decor blaupunkt, designed 1934?
(this date 1934 is mentioned at hedwig-bollhagen.org even i thought bollhagen stopped working at velten in oct. 1933?)

1. Velten-Vordamm  closed 1931
2. This is a mark of the Hedwig Bollhagen factory
at Marwitz near Velten 1934 onwards.
after the "Arisierung" / Aryanisation  of the former HAEL Werkstätten für künstlerischer Keramik  1923-1933. Bollhagen took over the building and Hael moulds etc. with form numbers <500  (but cancelled most of them)

Do you ask  why she didn´t use the Hael moulds ?

She said  that she didn´t like most of these forms.
Her statement is often quoted,  consenting.
