Star/Sun shaped back mark - William Brownfield Empty Star/Sun shaped back mark - William Brownfield

Got a couple of pieces at a car boot today for a couple of pounds but can't seem to find any details on the back mark. Going by the colouration etc my guess would be latter half of the 19th century.

update, this mark has been ID'd as William Brownfield, mark was used during the 1850's.
