I got this piece from a 90-year old mans estate.

It has cat/dog characters all around it.

There is a bell on the inside of the lid.

The bottom looks to be marked but I can't make it out.

Any idea of the age/maker would be appreciated. :)

maybe you could make a rubbing of the bottom with paper and a soft lead pencil

I suspect it says Made In The USA. Possibly 1950s.
