Unusual decorated vase, vBH mark
Please help me to ID this pottery vase. This seems to have a hard stoneware type body with a decoration consisting of four different symbols rotating around the body, not sure if they mean anything. Cream coloured interior with crazing in the glaze. Clear painted mark on a glazed base.
The clay seems to be red coloured stoneware, never seen that before.
Height: 12cm Diameter: 14cm

Correction, the mark is not painted but incised into the pale green glaze on the base showing through to the red clay body.

Re: Unusual decorated vase, vBH mark
Mark looks like vBH . I'm wondering if the v stands for 'van', which would indicate a Continental piece.
