Wendy Nolan, Hereford

Wendy Nolan pottery mug. Struggling to find any info on her. Does any one know anything about her?

Unfortunately she seems to have been potting before the introduction of the World Wide web, so there isn't anything about her on Google.

thank you naomim.... i did some research before and came up with roundtree pottery is she part of this pottery group?

I doubt it. That's someone called Nolan Windholtz, not W. Nolan, or Wendy Nolan.

Wendy Nolan had a pottery on the outskirts of Wellington, Hereford for some years. She was a bit of a recluse. Her cottage and workshop were in a wood on the side of Dinmore Hill looking down on to Wellington. I never got to know her but have a couple of pieces of her work.

This is another Wendy Nolan piece in my possession.

Hello, I have two pots here signed Wendy Nolan. They date fro 1960 when my mother and brother were keen on learning how to 'pot' at East Berks College Windsor. No guarantee they are one and the same but there are similarities. Photos available if required.

I hope these are of interest. Although marked 1960s, I am aware from family diaries that the actual evening classes at the East Berks College, Claremont Road in Windsor took place in 1960.

I am having a big clear out which is how I came across them. I would be interested in selling them to an enthusiast or dealer who could find them a good home.

Edit: I have a feeling I might have other pieces but they will take a bit of digging out from storage boxes!
