Picked this up today, I'm on an art pottery binge lately! All I can make out is '73 next to the name. I did the baking soda trick and was wondering if anyone with a better eye could help me? Does anyone recognize the work?

Dibbi '73 ?
Looks like the work of a hobby potter. Difficult to track down anyone working back in the 70s, before the internet, but you could ask at your nearest Studio Pottery Association to see if she's a past member.

Yeah, but there are some famous, valuable studio potters who make ugly pieces. Elisabeth Joulia and Peter Voulkos? Some of that stuff is so awful... But the asking price is four-figures!
