An Irish potter with those initials that comes to mind is Louis Mulcahy, who works Dingle way. He has been potting for 40 years so just might be some of his early work. It is nothing like his current pots and he now signs his pots rather than having a seal mark.

The most obvious name that comes to mind with that mark is Bernard Leach's son, Michael, but they are definitely not by him.
