I think your mark is upside down. Rather than AA it may be AW

Not surprised you have seen the mark its the one on the front cover of British Studio Potters Marks by Yates and Owen. Its David Charles White from Rochester 1964 onwards. Big Laughter

Moved as requested Brin.

This appears to be the mark he used when he was based in Bromley from 1968-76. Up until a few years ago he lived and worked in Cliffe, near Rochester in Kent but moved to Walmer on the south Kent coast, where he lives with my wife's friend, Marilyn, who is also a potter. He still pots and is a member of Kent Potters.
