Cyprus Tile decorated Petrofani-Malloura of Cypro-Archaic I period
Tile featuring a bird catching a fish.
Could it be by Kenneth Clark or Ann Wynn-Reeves? However, it's not the usual H&R Johnson Ltd tile they used, so possibly Continental?
Brown discolouration due to glue or tobacco tar or old cooking grease leaching in from the porous back.

Characters on back are Hebrew and design contains proper eastern swastikas (e.g. good luck symbols from Indian culture).
I would suggest probably Israeli.
