Grand River Pottery (Canada)
Grand River Pottery. Fergus, Ontario, Canada
Inuit figurine. He's missing a spear so I will have to whittle down a knitting needle or a chopstick :)
No pic of base because my camera batteries died but it's a red clay body with Grand River Pottery and Made in Canada stamped in black ink.

Snap! I have one in black; also missing it's spear.
Two partial stamps on the base, but I could only make out Made in Canada on one of them. The other seemed to say HU???? POTTERY. Did more than one pottery make them?

Well, I thought mine was Grand River Pottery but the first half of the mark is obscured. I think that yours is Huronia. A lot of the potters in Ontario morphed out from Blue Mountain Potteries and I think that they might have shared moulds and glaze recipes so without a perfect mark it could have come from any of them. I'm going to do a bit more research on this one today.

**Could a mod please edit title to "Huronia Pottery (Canada) please**
Here is a Huronia label...so both of our Inuits are Huronia. I have a marked Huronia vase that has the same type/feel of glaze but pale green.
Here is where my confusion came from... I found the one Inuit figurine on Google Images made with this mould but carrying a Grand River label

Thanks for clearing up the confusion of the marks.
