Please help ID this French Dish
hello, i'd be very greatful if someone could help identify this dish
it measures 10 x 15 inches and has quite a distinctive mark on the back in the form of a stork/crane type of bird, 'made in france' along the bottom and 'ref 22/4' at the top.

Re: Please help ID this French Dish
Looks like traditional provincial French pottery. The stork mark may indicate it was made by a rural potter based in the Alsatian region of Eastern France.

Re: Please help ID this French Dish
Looks like earthenware rather than stoneware so I wouldn't risk it in the oven
