Amethyst vase with unusual silver strapping overlay ??

Thanks for taking the time to look, any thoughts appreciated as I am stumped.
I think quite a nice looking studio glass vase
Unusual heavy silver strapping. Not seen anything like this myself.
Base looks to have ground pontil which has been fire polished ??
Measures arount 9cm tall. I cant even make out the silver Hallmark not one of the easy to trace kind unfortunately.

Should maybe have posted this in Metals/ silver I guess ???

I'm a bit suspicious. Nice vase - possibly Bohemian - but The marks don't look like proper silver marks, and the overlay looks more like a lead solder. Possibly made somewhere like Egypt for gullible tourists.

The glass looks like a Pilgrim Cranberry shape, therefore if it is silver try looking at American silver marks.
