Studio Pottery Vase wit inlaid pattern. Any ideas please?
Hi the vase stands 7.1/4" high. I does have a possible makers mark on the base, Any ideas of potter please.

It looks to be a traditional form. I suspect it's early 20th Century, provincial/rural pottery, either English or French, rather than Studio Pottery.
Decoration is sgraffito, rather than inlaid.

Can't say who made it but it looks like studio pottery to me. The decoration isn't something that I have seen on earlier English or French rural pottery. Items this size in traditional pottery were made solely to be used and had little or no decoration.

The body looks to be a very dense stoneware and the walls look thickly thrown. To be honest the decoration looks better than the throwing.
It is very difficult to judge age from photographs but I would guess that it was made 1960s/early 1970s in the UK.
