thanks naomim... when i first saw this i thought it was an otagiri Japanese piece because i have like two piece of their item at home... but is not... this otagiri japanese pieces are they hand thrown because they look pretty perfect but written on the label hand crafted does it really mean is hand thrown?

Hand crafted certainly means that they were not hand thrown. It's a term that is used to suggest that there was more manual imput than there actually was. A dodgy term really.

Aside from both pots having a narrow neck that is probably the only similarity between them. Your one looks like studio pottery. I don't think its oriental.

With the red clay and that monogram, I'd say British Studio Pottery.

To me it has an Italian look but the clay doesn't look right so it could be "Made in China" for sale in Italy.

Just a feeling but no real evidence to back it up.

i see where you coming from because of the design and you could be right pots.
