Mengrai Kilns, Duangkamol, Thailand
This is a Signed 11 inch tall Pottery Vase with numerous markings but an illegible signature. I've rubbed it with graphite to make it more visible Any Ideas as to origin? Thanks in advance for any info.

Not sure of the odd markings, but the signature looks like it could be Shinn, which would be William "Bill" Shinn, a fairly well known contemporary potter. Last I'm aware from the Santa Maria area of California. Not sure if he is still with us though as the current listing for American Ceramic Society Design Chapter mentions only his wife Jean whereas previous listings included Bill.

Thailand celadon vase
I believe it's from Thailand. Came across a webpage for the National Geographic Store, which had a selection of vases made in traditional form by a Thai ceramic artist called. Duangkamol The little blue one with the lug handles is like mine, and has the same mark as yours, although whether ours were made by Duangkamol or another Thai potter is still to be determined:
Thai ceramic artist Duangkamol, who crafts these striking blue vases, works in a tradition that is close to 2,000 years old. Chinese potters brought the techniques of wood ash-glazed celadon to northern Thailand more than 700 years ago. This collection of vases reproduces classic shapes and traditional incised designs that have been treasured for hundreds of years. The distinctive crackled surface forms as the ceramic and the glaze cool at different rates, an effect that’s called crazing.
