Green octagonal base vase with lava finish.
Anyone recognise this one? The green glaze looks somehow English to me but the lava finish would suggest Germany as a place of origin. It has a number 1305 on the base. 6 1/4'' (15.7cm) tall. Any ideas?
Thanks
Simon

Do you mean the book: "Fat Lava : West German Ceramics of 1960"s & 70s"? If so I think it's a time to buy one

Yes that one ,I bought mine years ago when all the fat lava thing started , the original book has many mistakes in it , another edition was brought out but I can't confirm how accurate that one is either .

Yes! Thank you vhb, great stuff. I have found almost identical recently sold on the web! The difference is that the other one is straight and numbered 1301.

Re: Green octagonal base vase with lava finish.
I'm still waiting for my book
I have ordered directly from their website but still haven't get it. Did send them an email though so hopefully I'll be able to see the mistake with my own eyes
