Art Deco Gresham Jug?

This moulded jug is 17cm high.

Base has a printed backstamp, double circle enclosing The Gresham ???? & ???? Co London, enclosing an animal above a crown and the motto underneath Astutia non Labore which I think means craft not labour.

Art Deco style, should be a doddle to identify! But I'm stumped  

Any help appreciated!

It looks like Sylvac or Brentleigh or similar. I wonder if the stamp on the bottom was for a London hotel or business?

You could well be right, I'd wondered that too. There are no other identifying marks.

Tried to track down an old Gresham Hotel but couldnt tie it down. Even the motto draws a blank.

No matter, the jug is of no particular merit, it just annoys me that I cant pin it down given the clues!

Might have been a gentleman's club.
There's Gresham Street in London, which includes the Museum of London and the Guildhall. And Gresham College in London.

There's an Art Deco vase listed online as "GRESHAM WARE ENGLAND, POTTERY VASE. 7 3/4" HIGH, LIGHT BLUE WITH SILVER FLOWERS." which also looks like Burleigh or Sylvac or similar.

A full base picture would help please.
