Hi folks

new here and looking for help with an ID for this. It's English and I was given it as a present a few years ago. The stamp is pretty clear, but there's also what looks like a fingernail impression, which seems deliberate.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Nick Rees?
I don't think the other 'mark' is a potter's mark. More likely a finger or thumb print over a scratch/fingernail mark in the clay.

I think Nick's mark is usually more angular

Thanks for the replies.

I found this image of Nick Rees' mark: it does look a lot more angular and the descender of the N forms the lower leg of the K, so similar, but not the same:

Any other thoughts?
