It reminds me of Bristow Pottery, England, and Dumler & Breiden, Germany. But since you're in the US it's probably by a potter local to you.

Unfortunately, the potters mark is not clear in person either. Hoping someone recognized the style/form. Will let this one die.:)

often it's possible to make the mark appear more defined using wax crayon,pencil etc or make an imprint using clay, dough, blu tac or the like
