I've come across a number of marbled (or agate) clay pots like this, such as Pog Crafts, Martin Pettifer, David Hewitt, Alton Towers and Dunster, but none with this mark. Maybe it's not British.
Or could it be an early Pog Crafts?

thanks naomim the clay is quite different... inside is glazed and outside i don't know what type of texture it is, perhaps agate or marbled like u said... i have sold something similar with this type of texture before in form of brush pot.

I have seen that circle with a dot in it pottery mark, but just can't think where. Sorry...Or maybe in this case it is supposed to be an O to go with the block letter A (?) Sorry, not much help.

yes it's a circle mark with the dot inside then triangle mark with CROSS inside and E P
