Any possibility of identifying this owl Empty Any possibility of identifying this owl

This owl looks extremely annoyed . I am too as I have no idea who could have created him. Is it likely that it is by an amateur?

6"  high and 6.5 " from ear tip to ear tip. Slab formed with an off white glaze. No base markings.

It looks "too thought through in design" to be the work of an amateur to me but I've no idea who made it.

Very nice. Looks like a professional studio piece but not one I've come across before.
