Hi,

Can anybody id this bowl - impressed mark Chideack or Chideock, please.

Chideock is a village in south dorset, but I cant find reference to a pottery there.

looks like a student/hobby piece to me but I could be wrong

I expect it comes from a potter who once had a pottery / their own kiln in the village. A little more professional than a student piece, but probably a one-man-band.

Maybe you could email someone in the parish council who might remember a pottery in the village?
