Terry Bell-Hughes
Terry Bell-Hughes graduated from Harrow School of Art, where he had received tuition from Mick Casson amongst others and where he met his wife Beverly (see her own listing on the forum). Originally working with Denise & Rosemary Wren at their Oxshott Studio, Surrey he went on to set up the studio in Llundudno Junction from where he and Beverly still work.
The vase has a square section body with round rim and foot, and stands 6.5" high and 3.75" across each side. Judging by his latest work this appears to be an early piece, and shows some similarities with Rosemary Wrens non-animal work, so perhaps an influence. I have enhanced the photo of the stamp as it was indistinct due to the texture of the clay.

Re: Terry Bell-Hughes
Yes, the vase is likely to date from the 1970s when he was still based in Surrey.

An image of one of Terry's "Girls" coffee/tea pots from the late 1990s.
I know but it seems that is what the girls look like in North Wales.

Re: Terry Bell-Hughes
The applied decoration and the glazes remind me of pots that Terry Bell Hughes was making 10 or so years ago. Don't think they are his but someone inspired by him, which isn't a great move.
