Please help me to id this Pottery Butter Dish. Empty Please help me to id this Pottery Butter Dish.

Is it possible to id the maker of this Stoneware Pottery Butter Dish with a handle in the manner of a curl of butter. Unknown potters incised mark on the base and the underside of the lid, looks like a small letter k. No idea of the date, is it Studio Pottery?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
